 ASUU Threatens to Embark on Another Strike


The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have threatened to embark on another nationwide strike.


ASSU disclosed this one Thursday and stated that they are embarking on fresh industrial action to enable the federal government to show commitments based implementing 2019 memorandum of action.



The threat was issued by ASSU national president, Professor, Biodum Ogunyem,i on Wednesday while meeting the Minister of Education Adamu Adamu, when detailing the updates on the ongoing Negotiation with the government over the contending N25 billion.

Many Nigeria has reacted to the recent strike action by ASSU especially students on social media

You might recall that the academic staff Union of University (ASSU) sometime in February called its strike off as many students are back to classroom while others are taking their first semester exams at the moment.
