Today we are going to discuss the NYSC graduation list, its meanings, the difference between graduation list and Senate list and how to successfully check your name on the graduation list link.
I know very much that this is not your first time of seeing such on NYSC portal but assuming this is your first time, kindly pay attention as I education you based on things you need to know.
It might interest you to know that the NYSC graduation list is different from the general NYSC senate list.
In fact, before you start imagining having your name places at the NYSC senate list; your name should be at the graduation list first.
Before I go ahead to educate you via NYSC Graduate list, let me quickly explain to you what this graduation list is all about.
What is NYSC Graduation List?
This is the approved list that contains the names of all students that graduated from all Nigeria Universities and are ready for NYSC. The list also shows the student that have registered for NYSC and those pending.
The Nation youth service corps has made it compulsory that all Corps producing institutions are to submit their graduation list to NYSC for mobilization and documentation.
NOTE: if your name is not listed at the gradation list after you might have successfully checked, it means that you still have many things to settle with the institution you graduated from.
Dissimilarities between NYSC Graduation list and NYSC Senate list
The NYSC graduation list and NYSC senate list share so many things in common because it contains the names of prospective corps member but in all, below are the dissimilarities.
- NYSC senate list contains the names of students already mobilised for one-year national youth service whereas the Graduation list contains names of all graduates from various institutions.
- Graduation list has the status of (registered and not registered) whereas, Senate list shows those that are eligible to registrations.

NYSC Graduation list has so many features which includes
- The surname of all candidates
- Other names
- Gender
- Course
- Status
How to check your name on NYSC graduation list
Checking your name on the NYSC gradation list is quite simple and easy. Just follow below procedures and you will get it done.
- Visit the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) portal
- Scroll down to Gradation list, just below Senate list.
- Click on it fill the form.
- Enter your batch. Eg Batch B, 2018
- Select your programme. Eg, 1st degree (University), HND (Polytechnic) or college (Monotechnic)
- Select the institution you graduated from. Eg, Ebonyi State University
- Finally, select the accredited course i.e. the course you studied
And then click on Extract PCM
NOTE: once you clicked on Extract PCM, it will display a form which contained the names of all the students in that institution under the batch that you selected above who have registered for NYSC or yet to register for NYSC
