 UNIUYO Bans Students from Wearing Wristwatch during Exams


This is to inform all new and returning students of The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) that the management of the school has banned the use of wristwatches by students during exams.


The university disclosed this in a statement released by the school management on 22nd of May 2019 and was signed by the deputy chancellor, Prof. Enoidem Usoro.



The statement reads that students are now prohibited from putting on wristwatches to examinations halls and venues.

It was also gathered that the new law is meant to take an effect from 2018/2019 first semester exams.
